Amazing, how much of a failure Democratic cities are with only a few exceptions.

Then again the combination of ignoring every single problem that has ever arisen and encourage poor women to have as many babies as possible for big, fat welfare cash and prizes doesn't lead to good things.

This is just the beginning of the downfall as for several decades, poor women have been having tremendous amounts of babies that they can't afford.

The next generation for Medicaid babies who are the vast majority of babies in LA and Baltimore are most likely going to be very upset over the circumstances of their poverty unbringings and will join dangerous gangs to fill the void of having terrible parents who had multiple babies just for the section 8, EBT, WIC and other goodies.

How are the Democrats going to implement also these luxury programs, when they can't even keep their cities under control.

They won't admit their social policies are failures. Their usual practice is to double down and make things worse.

Family size has been reducing year after year.... You should have seen the women in the 1930's depression, with 12 kids and no birth control.

Why aren't loose gun control laws in conservative states working for less crime? Even though under such circumstances more people have guns, criminals still aren't too afraid to rob stores and break into houses or, otherwise attempt to force their way upon people, who may be armed. As a result, you have considerably higher murder rates.

There won't be any examples provided to back that up! What nonsense!

How racist of you to suggest that people only have children they can afford, and that the family stay together.

De-criminalize drugs, abolish welfare, abolish wage laws, get govt out of the way to allow for easier self-employment and the violence will subside.

Where I live I can walk into any gun store and in about 10 minutes purchase any gun in stock. Rough estimate is about 90 percent of the households will have at least one firearm and it's going to be mix of liberals and conservatives. It's semi rural area and you can legally shoot on your own property under certain conditions so gun shots are not that uncommon especially around hunting season. We have open carry so if I want to walk down the street with shouldered rifle or holstered pistol I can do that without any type of permit. It's shall issue state, obtaining concealed carry permit is not difficult. Crime is nearly non existent in this area let alone people getting shot.

That said the primary reason for the low crime rates is the people that live there. However you cannot discount the fact that anyone considering illegally entering a home is going to be well aware they are likely going to be confronted by armed homeowner.
