If a former MLB player got elected to President as a Republican, the Democrats would subpoena everyone they could to find out if he ever used too much pine tar on his bat, if that was the only dirt they could hope to find.

The fact that a notorious skinflint is willing to spend vast amounts of capital (both political and monetary) on desperately fighting disclosure of his financial records should inform you that whatever is in there is materially damaging. Bury your heads in the sand if you want, but I believe in transparency when it comes to our political leaders. The public has a right to be informed.

I don't care if Trump flip flops, or if he goes to jail in the end. The government can't just choose to violate an individuals privacy. Sorry bub, spare me the crocodile tears.

You think your absolute right to privacy from government eyes extends to documents you sign and send to the government for their review? How interesting.

What's the old saying, you only have something to hide if you know you did something wrong? I got that right, correct?

The problem here is you submitted the paperwork with signature of penalty of the law if it is wrong to the federal government. So you think records you disclosed to the government are private?

He's worried about being proven that he's probably not even a billionaire... Duetsche bank has no love for Trump... While this is tied up in the courts, they aren't going to ignore a congressional subpoena

IRS hasn't said anything but Mueller report didn't work so let's try this.

I'm neither a Trump supporter nor a Republican, but nonetheless it is interesting that you would type the bolded.
