H vote to hold A.G. in contempt of Congress. If the vote succeeds it should be a Badge of Honor when the congress is contemptable.

Today is the vote. Do the Dems have enough votes to hold A.G. Barr in contempt of congress ?

AG Barr should receive a prize not a punishment.

The political system is no better than those who hold office in it. When these people are contemptable, as they are today. What is the remedy ? Prize or punishment.

Notice today the committee has no witness before it. Why do they need one to beat up on. They bring their preconceived ideas and notions to the hearing and no witness ever seems to change any minds of committee members. Much of the time is taken up by speech making and that is again is what we have today.
Its a political exercise. Is that oversight ? I say, No !!!
Its an abuse of power. Is that what the founders intended congress to be about ? Again, No !!!

It is a black mark on America when the Attorney General defies congress and disobeys the constitution. Barr is nothing more than a Trump toad and apologist. He should be ashamed of his obstruction.

Yeah, Obama and Eric Holder did it and all was well.

Barr sent a letter yesterday that Trump will invoke President Executive Privilege and they will get nothing.

The only thing Congress was entitled to was the 4 page Report Barr released.

The Democrats in the House are a bunch of nakedly unhinged pure partisan hacks. They may not realize it, but they have done themselves a real disservice today.

As far as Barr, this should clarify for him that these people are acting out of spite and not in any sort of responsible or mature adult manner. But I am pretty sure he already knew that.

Next.

Sheila Jackson makes the case against the President but they aren't holding the President in contempt. They want to hold the A.D. in contempt for doing his job. Unwilling to break the law the democrats insist on.

She says this is a day that will be notable in history. She is right on that but not in the way she understands it. Its the day the democrats disgrace congress and ignore what the people of this country want.
. Its the day the democrats deepen the divide in this country. Something many people and maybe most people do not want.
