“But in making his decision, Barr is bound by federal laws that limit how certain material from federal investigations can be shared. In particular, one section of the Federal Rules of Criminal Procedure — known in legal circles by its number, 6e — prohibits, with few exceptions, the public release of information obtained through grand jury testimony. The rule is intended to keep information classified in federal criminal investigations, and protect the privacy of an individual or entity that has not been charged with a crime.

"Barr doesn't have the power to say, 'We're turning grand jury information over [to the House of Representatives] for the purposes of an impeachment or anything else,'" ”

Nadler is in such a rush to find the A.G. in contempt he makes an amendment to his own motion due to information he just gained yesterday.

Nadler is unfit and incompetent to chair this committee. The GOP members ate his lunch today.

GOP Kelly Armstrong is trying to clear up what the subpoena says as opposed to what Nadler has said.

They've already said they wouldn't share anything regarding grand jury testimony.

D Veronica Escobar talks about the Russians attacked us but conveniently ignores it was an attack on Obama's watch not the current admin. It was Obama that did nothing about it but ignored it.

Then D. Hank Johnson makes the case this contempt has to happen now b/c they doesn't have enough time to do things the way they would normally. Time is running out due to a coming election.
He really is objecting to having voters decide. He can't or doesn't want to take the change they might lose their opportunity by a vote of the people.

Hank makes it clear they have no creditable claim on preserving the democracy by rushing to a decision to avoid a vote of the people.
The democrats have demonstrated they are a clown act. Not much else.

The committee is adjourned until aprox. 2:30 PM

Not sure if it was b/c of another vote or the clowns need a refresh with their makeup for the cameras.

It could be due to a delay with the chicken delivery.

When enough is enough that sounds like the perfect time to use executive privilege. Its time to focus on running the country.
