Trump's wealth is in equity in his properties and that equity is highly leveraged. He has said he loves debt. A downturn will have severe consequences for his organization. We further don't know Trump's "net worth". My feeling is he has nowhere near a billion in cash, stocks and bonds.

Trump Tower apparently has 42,000 square feet of space it can't rent. Condominiums are selling for losses. This is in the hottest real estate market in the country.

First, Trump never thought he would get elected.
Second, We know the taxpayer is contributing to paying his bills for some of his resorts.
Third, We know that the Trump family of grifters have attempted to profit from the presidency. We still don't know what Trump talked to Putin about behind closed doors.
Lastly, Trump never did a damn thing for anyone if it did not profit him personally as sindey wrote.

Truly, I wonder if he actually is a billionaire. Since we don’t see his financials or tax returns, he could be lying about that, too.
I’m not the least bit envious of Trump. With all the personal problems he has, no wonder he doesn’t sleep much at night. Plus, he is filled with anger and hate.

Even if I could afford an apartment in Trump Tower, I wouldn’t buy one. Trump is such a sleaze, I doubt that the structure is built very well.
