The tone from the top does matter. For better or worse, he is the top representative of the nation to the entire planet. I wish he could conduct himself with some dignity and pride worthy of his Office, but that's clearly not in the cards with him.

The Profanity President: Trump’s Four-Letter Vocabulary
By Peter Baker

His is the profanity presidency, full of four-letter denunciations of his enemies and earthy dismissals of allegations lodged against him... But critics say the vulgarity comes at a cost. “No one has debased the civil discourse in this country more than President Trump, and the president really does set the tone in the country.”

The left is upset they can't control the entire narrative and that the little people are no longer sitting down and shutting up.

It just shows the utter and complete hypocrisy of the family values right. Vulgarity uses to be seen as demeaning to the presidency. A poor example to set for our youth.

Now vulgarity, like lying and cheating, attributed to be tolerated if not downright admired by the "family values" party. It seems the family values party has contempt for the truth and c8vilized behavior. What a bunch of hypocrites.

No, Bill Clinton was a choir boy next to your idol, Trump.

But I suppose what you are arguing is yes, Trump is a liar, a cheat, but hey it's, okay, because Bill Clinton years ago was one. At least in your mind.

Yea, great argument.

Seems like an argument you don't want to have....you supported it back then, because you support slick willie.....not you hate trump and now it's a problem.....yea, that's called a hypocrite....not a great argument.....

Amazing how the left hates history, when it disagrees with them....

Right back at ya, big boy. You detest Clinton now but supprt Trump for conduct exponentially worse, but you don't care, do you? The very definition of hypocrisy.
