How is advocating for birth control in conflict with pro-lifers stance on abortion? That makes no sense at all. With birth control the sperm can't meet the egg so therefore there is no human in the making. Geezus.
False, that is not how every form of birth control works, every single time. I explained this in my post, and if you didn't believe me or wanted to know more, it is very easy to read about thanks to google. I've known this since I first went on BC almost 40 years ago. But instead of responding intelligently to my post, and the facts therein, you respond with "Geezus"???? And then you wonder why women don't want you making reproductive decisions for them? Seriously, reread my post, learn how BC actually works, think about the blastocyst (multi-celled organism) that is prevented from implanting into the uterine wall, then maybe try intelligently answering what I respectfully and sincerely asked you in my post.
Notice It is called BIRTH control, not necessarily "conception control." Any doctor will tell you that the word "contraception" can be a misnomer.
Edited to add:
So if you now believe the facts that some BC prevents a fertilized egg (now a zygote, or after cell division, a blastocyst) from implanting into the uterine wall, do you believe those methods of BC should remain legal? Do you consider them a form of early abortion?
