Do you even know the immense stress put on a woman's body during pregnancy and child birth? Some women need bed rest during the entire time they are carrying. Every pregnancy is different and can have many complications. The woman's health and vitals need to be monitored during the entire period. What part of it is not health care? It is an illness in the same sense it is not the normal condition of a human body, the pregnancy depletes her iron, protien and calcium, and puts great pressure on her entire system.

Medical care treats disease, illness and medical conditions. Pregnancy is a medical condition and one treatment for it is abortion.

What about recent attempts by states (Ohio, Missouri, Georgia, Louisiana, Mississippi) to ban 1st trimester abortion? The 1st trimester runs through the 12th week of pregnancy and yet they passed laws to ban abortion at about 6 weeks. Is that not a direct violation of Roe v Wade?

whether or not states allow third trimester abortions, or partial birth abortions, or even post birth abortions, they have been pushed, and states have or are currently considering them.

as for the heartbeat laws, i think they were put in place to force the issue before the supreme court again to solidify the original roe v wade ruling, and force all debate to end there one and for all.

The health care is for the woman who is carrying the fetus. The fetus draws from her body, exploits it fully, in order to thrive. If she dies the fetus dies. It is not much different from a tumor that grows in your body.

Majority of abortions are not for 'death of woman' reasons. Stop the lies.

The right-wing will fight for your right to own a gun and shoot up a school full of children yet a clump of cells must be saved.

In addition, support wanes precipitously for late-term abortions--and is paltry for those used as a means of birth control.

So the debate will continue, especially when the envelope is pushed, as it has been, to include partial-birth abortions, and infanticide. Believe it.

And, interestingly, the majority of those polled consider abortion to be " morally wrong, regardless of their opinions on its legality.

The debate offered by posters like you is about spreading lies and misinformation. What is your motive only you will know.
Partial-birth abortions are very, very rare and happens when there is fatal fetal anomaly. Infanticide is murder and murder is illegal. Doctors will go to jail for that.
What is moral is for each of us to decide. If it immoral for you don't engage in sex, don't have abortions.

If the baby had a chance to fight back, I wonder what it would do... It's easy to pick on them... They can't even talk to you yet to express their desire to live....
