Stop taking the treatment? It's not permanent. Just a drug you take that suppresses testosterone. But there can be side effects that could put it into 'cruel and unusual' territory.

I think it should be pretty simple, convicted offenders should be able to choose chemical castration to reduce a very long prison sentence to a long prison sentence. If they are wrongly convicted, keep your junk and fight through appeals.
