Then why did Trump go off the deep end when he found out our intelligence agencies were conducting our own counterespionage against Russia? You read his recent tweets have you not. I won't go into how you must be living in a bubble if you have seen Trump's kowtowing to Putin in public.

No you never answered the question. Should a POTUS engage in Stalinist rhetoric? Yes or No.

Is it fitting for a POTUS to channel Joseph Stalin? Should we now accept Stalinist rhetoric as a norm from a US president? Or is it any surprise, given Trump love for Russia and autocrats.

He wanted to hurry up and assure Putin that we wouldn't dare hurt him.

This is the "new normal" with Trump. Some of us see it, but don't believe it. And, the Republican party supports him. He seems more ramped up since Mueller's report came out, too. What happens to the GOP after Trump?

Not when the POTUS does it. The world is reading his ridiculous tweets.

No, a POTUS ought not to engage in Stalinist rhetoric.

Now, just because you think something is Stalinist, it doesn't mean it is. There's nothing wrong for the POTUS to call out the fake news media as long as he doesn't attempt to restrict the media even they are fake.

Stalin would send the journalists to gulag or a death chamber.

You missed my point, rhetoric said on Twitter is meaningless, he can engage in it or not. I don’t care because nothing comes of it.

Words have meaning. What comes from the office of the Presidency has meaning whether at a press conference or twitter.

????

The problem is that you are making a false, ridiculous assumption, then asking others whether they agree or disagree with your silly presumption. It is inappropriate for a president to engage in "Stalinist rhetoric"- perhaps you should have reminded Obama about that.

Trump is "channeling Stalin" only in your mind, not in reality.

Back in reality, your political ideology comes from the polluted mind of Stalin- political correctness and American liberalism, brought to you by the Frankfurt School.

Libs live by Stalinism:

political correctness

revisionist history

the supremacy of the state over the individual

hatred of the traditional family unit

hatred of the middle class

hatred of the Christian church

opposition to capitalism

Thank you. I agree with you he should not engage in this rhetoric.
