You totally missed my point. There is a difference in buying Nikes versus some lower priced shoes.

Did that 40% come from this study ?

https://www.federalreserve.gov/publi...d-expenses.htm

If so the MSM is misrepresenting some statistics there.

The typical by OP. Random out of bum, made up gobble gobble. If you can't make it in this economy, you just can't.

The only people I know of right now not doing better are druggies and recently divorced getting screwed by the courts.

The 25 year old nurses aide’s then boyfriend hit a deer while driving her car. They decided the car was not safe for transporting their 3 children so she bought a car with a $450/mo. pmt. before the boyfriend left them, leaving her to support the three children on her own.

Nothing ^ there is Trump’s fault no matter how much OP wants it to be. This young lady has made a series of terrible decisions and is left to deal with the consequences on her own while the POS she decided to procreate with is off scott free.

"Let them eat cake" updated to the 2019 US situation, I see.

Of course nurses should get paid more, but it does not follow that a nurse's aid should get a sub-living wage.

Read up on Charles Dickens or the Gilded Age (no benefits, few to no protections for strikers or those in unsafe work conditions, "let the buyer beware" consumer protections, unsafe food, medicine, and drink.
