What do you mean wrong. Wrong thousands of studies have been conducted for decades and are still being conducted by the government and other non governmental groups.
I asked before what are the other three studies on honeybees that have been canceled by this administration?
Perhaps reading the referenced article would help?
Seems so. She asked for discussion, especially from Trump supporters, but wont even clarify her complaint.
I'm still trying to figure out what she is talking about.
Exactly. The problem is raising enough awareness organically (no pun intended ) and the resulting supply and demand would take too along to alone make a difference quickly enough.
The elephant in the room is that industrial agriculture has no short term incentive to avoid using pesticides lethal to honeybees. Public companies are expected by investors to yield maximum profit at all costs by the next quarter or the next year. So they'll never take the initiative on their own to adopt more sustainable agricultural practices, even if not doing so will put them out of business in the long run.
This is exactly the problem. Trump, and the GOP in general, focus on short term gains, ignoring long term damage and costs, even when that damage is extreme. It's the same logic as climate change, where, ironically, the Gulf Coast could be the first casualty. The importance of honeybees is very rarely talked about and Trump's GOP relies on that to allow them to eliminate studies that would expose what is happening.
Being able to say later, "we told you so", is a hollow victory when we are all forced to experience the results.
Sorry but "The USDA has already ended three other bee data sets under the Trump administration, according to a report from CNN"
Does not tell me what the three other data sets were. It doesn't even say studies. So what, specifically, were the other three studies?
You have no idea do you?
speaking of failure to read - the question asked was which studies were cancelled. name them.

it's mostly a generalized rant. this study is still ongoing, and still paid for/sponsored by the government (NIFA and APHIS).

Do you have any idea how many studies and for how long these honeybee studies have be going on? Its not something that began during the Trump administration or the Obama administration or the Clinton administration. Why is it suddenly an emergency?
Look, feel free to justify every single thing Trump and his administration do. It's what his supporters live for and this will be no different. Just don't pretend later that "we didn't realize how bad this could be". The article very clearly explains that the arrival of Trump has resulted in four study cancelations. Costs were the excuse, even though money was very quickly found to bring in celebration tanks. Trump's people know his supporters do not understand or care about this and so the expansion of pesticide use will continue, regardless of the damage that is doing.

This is not something one should regard as an emergency, this is something that should be ONGOING the same way testing water or air should be. This is critical to human life. The USDA started doing these studies under Obama, Trump has canceled them. It's that simple. I'm sure there are many other environmental things we will learn once Trump is gone but allowing this to continue is not a good thing for humanity.

I wouldn't crap on all Trump supporters like that. A lot of them even here in this thread acknowledge it's a serious issue and that harmful pesticide use is the culprit. My FIL's a Trump supporter who buys only organic produce now and experiments with planting flowers to attract and nurture bees. He even mentioned wanting to start a beehive one day.
The blame goes on greedy ass companies, which don't give a damn about liberal or conservative ideals...they only care about raking in loads of money ASAP to please equally greedy and short-sighted shareholders (who come from both political parties).
And there it is. Trump supporters have no idea why honeybees are so critical.
Why are they so critical? They are not even native to North America.
