I found it funny that they were asking people not to "Take the Bait" on Trumps comments but here they were holding a press conference. Sometimes its best not to give Trumps Tweet of the moment too much attention, its just adiversion from real issues.
The democrats "squad" gives a press conference in response to Trump's criticism giving Trump another victory !!!
One suggested he should be impeached for his tweet !!! Really no new accusations against Trump but the rinse and repeat we've heard for 3 years !!!
Must be a fund raising event as one was known to remark earlier "its all about the Benjamin's !!!
It looks like Trump is bring them to heal as they describe their alternate universe. AOC reminisced about how she became a socialist/communist or whatever !!!
The questions from the press were reminiscent of Obama's enchantment question !!!

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Ayanna Pressley, and Rashida Tlaib, declared at a news conference on Capitol Hill Monday that "it is time for us to impeach this president" for "openly violating" his constitutional oath.
Omar asserted that the U.S. had a "long way" to go until it could live up to its founding values. She repeated unsubstantiated allegations that people were drinking from "toilets" in immigrant detention centers. U.S. officials have fiercely contested those claims.
If you think any of this latest fiasco was a "victory" for Trump, I have some swamp land I'd love to sell you. Anyone with a shred of decency, integrity, and intelligence saw his rant for what it was deep down.......pure racism.
I think all of us know that people can only disguise who they are for so long and then the real person starts to sneak out. Trump is at that point, and we are seeing what his beliefs and biases truly are. This "wall" obsession has nothing to do with limiting illegals from entering this country, and everything to do with his disdain for anyone who isn't lily white. His entire administration looks like a poster child for white pride day.
You guys elected this turd, now you have to live with the country he has left you with. But something tells me this is exactly how you like it..........white and divided.
The women that you are referring to, do not hate America. They are trying to improve on some key values. Education, health care, etc. Your president has baited his base with hate mongering.
Trump must hate America, the way he tries to tear it's values and our love for country and it's hard working people and the sacrifices that the military has made for America and the world.
He is the most vile, corrupt leader in my lifetime and he is the gift that just keeps on giving, that we just can't return. My hope is that he is taken off of hid throne, soon.
First, he's not "my" president. He's your president too.
And these far leftists are the ones who hate America. They are sticking up for criminal aliens who have deportation orders! They cry about "concentration camps" and then vote AGAINST sending them needed supplies. They put the interests of illegal aliens ahead of law-abiding Americans who have paid taxes for 50 years.
Example: An adjacent neighborhood has been overrun with illegal aliens. Half the school doesn't speak English, and 70% are on free lunches. Many of the SFHs are occupied by two and three (large) families. And now what is the local liberal council considering? Allowing homewners (which would be the investor owners) to build outdoor shacks in their backyard and convert them into rentals! The liberals are allowing the neighborhood to turn into a slum. And who is being hurt? Older Americans who bought the houses decades ago.
Polls, shmolls! The polls mean nothing, especially at this point, and most all of the polls regularly over-sample Democrats. This is by design. What did the polls say going into the 2016 election? They all had Hillary winning by a landslide. Of course, the opposite happened.
Most people in the Trump base feel exactly as he does, and I would venture to say the majority of Ameircans feel as he does toward these four women (Only 9% of Americans have a favorable view of Omar, and only 22% view AOC favorably).
People who constantly trash our country, as these four do, are not going to do the Democrats any favors. And President Trump has made them the face of the Democrat Party. In fact, most Democrats quickly jumped aboard the AOC "Green New Deal" train, a train which is headed for a short bridge. Further, AOC recently said that it wasn't about "Climate Change." It's about socialism. Period. That isn't selling well with the majority of Americans.
The 2020 election will be about Socialism vs. Capitalism (Freedom, Liberty, and the U.S. Constitution). And the Democrats are on the losing side of that choice. It's that simple.
No the election isn't about Socialism vs. Capitalism.
It may be for the extreme left or right but most voters will not take this over simplistic approach.
For 8 years the right trashed this country and now four junior politicians have a difference in policy than the existing administration and there is some kind of revolution happening.
Why is the right choosing to identify these four women as the controlling faction of the Democrat party -- when there are 20 other candidates who are actually trying to become the Presidential nominee?
This tactic of choosing to suggest that these four women are the head of some powerful movement to take over the country and make it socialist is very dramatic, simplistic and ridiculous.

No, we like it when people have at least a high school education and can support themselves. Overrunning the country with 100,000 people a month who average a grade school education and will immediately rely on American taxpayers to educate and feed their children is a good way to weaken - and ultimate destroy - the country. Read Alinsky to understand what the leftists are doing in their determination to turn this into a socialist country. (First, you have to get almost everyone dependent on the government,)
And yes these women have been vocal but they haven't been universally accepted by their own party (as Republicans were quick to point out)......
But choosing to tell a politician to go back to 'their' country (when they were born here or moved here as a child)......most definitely is singling them out.

And while his retort was completely asinine , and should never have been said, they have been critiquing and knit picking his policy from the day they were sworn in. Remember Tlaib and her "let's impeach the motherf#$ker " rant ? Yeah, I don't see Bernie doing this.
As far as the squad, they are just the annoying clique that has banded together. I'm assuming he really wanted to just tell them to shut the f#$k up, but blurted out what he did instead. Either way, definitely a bad move on his part.
oh and yes -- exact poll numbers are subject to margins of error, etc...but the trend in the polls do tell a story.

I thought Pressley did a great job of showing what Trump's purpose was - glad they had a press conference and spoke up for themselves....Ocasio-Cortez also very well spoken with good points made. Omar is obviously not as well spoken and perhaps read someone else's words (her speechwriter/chief of staff/etc).
