This was not a legally authorized arrest. Garner told them they had no cause to harass them. Anyone arrested as many times as him likely knew his rights.

That had no probable cause. Standing on the sidewalk is not probable cause. I already noted, his legal acumen is irrelevant.

The city ME believes Mr. Garner died of an asthma attack due to the hold, but other experts suggest he died of a heart attack while resisting arrest. Either way, the cop won’t be charged.
This is such BS. Even if he died from a heart attack during the incident, that cop should never have handled him like that. Over a fricken cigarette....that's where we are now, is it? We manhandle people over a fricken cigarette?

In the case of Garner, the Federal Government ruled that there was no violation of civil rights....
So if Mr. Garner felt that he had the right to fight a cop to defend his civil rights, he was, in fact, resisting arrest and breaking the law which subjected him to his own death.

I can send you countless videos of New Yorkers stepping around and over dead or dying folks, it's pretty commonplace up there. Regardless of their profession, that town just doesn't lend a hand to help others.
