Again it was Democrat vs Democrat. She won the primary and then won the election.

A black, a woman and an immigrant. She ticks all the Demwit identity politics boxes.

No match for AOC. Not a chance.

Only because like Nance said a glass of water with a "D" on it could have won.

Republicans have a bigger war chest than Dems. If Murray makes the rounds of TV shows, she will get a lot of out of state money.

I think NYers are fed up with the high taxes, low returns thanks to Demwit mismanagement and corruption. Republicans have run the city in the past. Giuliani cleaned up that mess, remember?

If the past three years have shown us anything it is that there is no more 'politics as usual.'

She didn't really say what she was about. I watched that whole thing and have not the slightest clue of what she believes in. Just a bunch of vague talk about "bridges".

I really think that the republican party should think about not running anyone against her, unless the dems "primary" her to get rid of her.

I am sure that Pelosi would love nothing better to get rid of those two, but hopefully their constituents will support their lunacy and vote them back in.
Well, the Leftist in Venezuela voted Hugo Chavez in and many still love and support him, they also preach the AOC message of Socialism and Revolution.

I agree with this.

Weird to me that the OP and others think that a Republican would ever win in her district.

I'll also note her 15 minutes of fame are directly attributed to Republicans/conservatives who keep talking about everything she does. It is honestly very strange how you all are fascinated with her. I really DGAF about her or what she is doing. She is not my representative and I don't understand why you all are so afraid of her when I doubt she is your representative either (99% of you).

Let's hope not. I am hoping that AOC has a long political career and becomes the permanent face of the dem party.

I would hope that she would run for POTUS when she is old enough.

She is one of the most divisive, idiotic politicians to come out since Hank Johnson and she is really strengthening Trump's support. You cannot buy better support for the republican party.
