I never was, totally agree...let Japan do Japan.

However, being the math\analytics nerd that I am....if someone points to Japans low homicide rate and tries to make out like it's solely due to guns, then naturally I'm going to look at Japans assault rate too.

Unless Japan has strict govt. controls on fists, it would appear they're just not nearly as violent of a society as we are so kudos to them.

Japan is a odd country in so many respects. I worked for a Japanese Company for 3 years, and liked many things about their society and disliked a few things too.

"In Japan, more people died from suicide last month than from Covid in all of 2020". 2153 Suicides in October alone, 2087 deaths due to Covid total as of end of Nov 2020. For Comparison, Homicide rate about 300 per year.

Japan has way less homicides than the US does.
Other than the lack of firearms they lack one key ingredient the US has in gun homicides.

Are you suggesting that's what I did? That would be an exceptionally odd conclusion to draw.

Has CNN labeled him a racist, white supremacist and Fox news watcher, and called out the violent attacks against innocent Asians as a result?

Your response to "not many guns" in Japan was "not many murders either" and then proceeded to compare the countries murder rates.

You're making a direct comparison of gun ownership to murders and then showing Japans lower statistics.

So, enlighten us as to what point you were actually trying to make. That coke is better than pepsi?

I'm noticing that you just complained that your point was missed yet are not clarifying, so here is your chance.
