Congress and Obama denied a visa to a guy Iran wanted to serve as Ambassador to the U.N..
No prior members of Congress were as actively opposed to Israel's existence as OmarTlaib. Perhaps that's why no member had been denied a visa until now. Israel, the same as other countries, can refuse entry to people they believe pose a threat to national security interests. As members of Congress and spokespersons for BDS and other anti-Israel existence policy, OmarTlaib could reasonably be kept out of what they called 'palestine.'
That said, the decision was bad for Israel's political and popular support in the U.S..
BUt Israel did admit Tlaib for humanitarian reasons - to visit Gramma - and she turned them down since a) she didn't want to waste time seeing her elderly grandmother when she wanted to devote her energies to taking down Israel, and b) to accept Israel's welcome would show that Israel is a decent country, and that's the last thing she'd want to do.
Russia allowed US congressmen to visit during the Cold War, just a fact but Israel can’t do the same.
Yes Israel has the right, not the point. We also have the right to pull financial and military support.
The USSR also denied VISA's as did we. There were citizens of allied nations that we also denied.
I am all for pulling financial and military support from all our friends who are mooches. That said, one has nothing to do with the other.

Basically I live in the People's Republic of New York, in a decidedly one-party district. We have been represented by RINO's or Democrats since WW II. The only exception was Dioguardi, elected in 1984 and 1986. He bit the dust in a scandal involving Crabtree Toyota. The GOP candidates since then have either been nonexistent or patently unelectable buffoons. In other words my only chance to have any impact locally or in my state is by being a Democrat. As far as the state going GOP in a Federal election, I couldn't laugh hard enough.

I reckon that even a buffoon RINO would be a better choice, as a lesser evil, than remaining a democrat just because you can’t see a viable alternative. I say that only because democrat policies never produce the results promised, so even if they seem more advantageous.... they only create greater problems in the long run.

Anyone who would want Tlaib (or any of "The Squad") for POTUS, imo, wants an end to the United States and is an enemy of it, and I have no wish to even read their opinions. Therefore, you are now on my Ignore list. Bye.
