"Fake news" against Hillary. Heh, heh...

Like the video footage of Hillary having to be loaded into a handicapped van like an inert sheet of plywood which was provided by her own full-throated allies, the Mainstream Media? That did more to sink her chances than anything the Russians could have done. That, and the fact that she campaigned with all the charisma of a wheelbarrow full of steaming dog feces. That didn't help, either.

When she wasn't impersonating an enormous pile of rancid dog feces, she was, interestingly enough, barking like a dog, which only served to reinforce her pre-existing image in the eyes of the voting public.

People will self-certify that they are eligible to vote. No verification that voters are who they say they are will occur, again the honor system at work.

The only actual security aspect that seems to be part of this bill is the requirement for paper backup. That part is good. The whole thing otherwise seems intended to make it easy for illegals to vote and to increase the size of registered voter lists so as to make it easier for some to vote multiple times using the names of registered voters that likely wouldn't otherwise vote.

If they were serious about protecting the integrity of the system people would need to prove who they say are to register and then again when they go to vote.
It was also about tracking dark money going into social media. If there were problems with the bills there should at least been a debate.

Message sent by ole Mitch. The bill should be "apolitical" not partisan like the one(s) from the house. Read then bill and it's pretty obvious.

Sorry folks, this is how our democratic republic works. There are many options if you don't like it... including but not limited to "love it or leave it".

Get over you intolerant snowflake sensitivity and get off my lawn.... lol. Nice man bun, tho.

How were the bills partisan??? Explain the downside of restrictions on dark money flowing into social media.

Shall we go through it line by line? or is same day registration enough to illustrate my objection. I'm not speaking NOT speaking for Mitch. Think about that for a moment trying to be apolitical about it.

Would you be OK with same day gun purchase? without ample time to do a background check?

Think about all the processes we need to go through for a drivers licence, getting electric service to your home, buying a car, running a business, paying taxes, etc. In order to strengthen something you make is as robust as possible... how is same day registration and voting doing that?

A stand alone security Bill would pass with 90+ votes.

Same day registration was one part and by the way many states have same day gun purchases. So did Mitch have a debate and air the problems with the bill, were there any proposed amendments.

If there is one person who is hated more in politics than Trump, and the Squad, it HAS to be Mitch McConnell.

Why does he hate America so much? This isn't the first time he has blocked things against Russia, clearly he has more vested interest in Russia and a few select oligarchs, than he does the USA.
How about we focus on problems with the 2 parties, like stopping the collusion from the DNC that got the evil witch Hillary elected?

Of course the bots would. They had no problem with a blank check for the 9/11 responders so why would anything change? Oversight and accountability is for the other guys.
