Republicans LOOOOOOVE cheap defenseless labor... so, will not happen.

Huh? It's been the Republicans who have fought for e-verify but the Democrats that have voted it down. Trump has had it in his last two budgets but it hasn't happened yet and I'm sure the Democrats have nixed it again. There have been several companies prosecuted under Trump. So you were saying?

If you think that it's only Republican business owners who hire illegal aliens to increase their profits then you aren't dealing in reality.

Trump is Commander in Chief.
Money was allocated to The Pentagon, which is part of Defense Department.
So it's his call.
The total DOD budget is nearly $700B.
It'll be OK.

BTW ... did you (or anyone) really believe that Mexico would pay for it? I didn't think so. It is you and I who're paying for it.

You'd rather continue paying the over $100 billion a year that illegal aliens cost us? Did you fail at math in school?

Yes, I would. I would also work harder to pay for their healthcare and let my own children suffer.

Dems are losing a huge bargaining chip in the immigration debate, the barrier is getting built without them getting anything in return. They’ve let down the dreamers by refusing to get a deal done for them, terribly poor leadership right now.

Yup.

Dems could have given Trump his 5 billion dollars for the wall. In return, he would give dems DACA. Its a win-win

Now, dems are getting nothing in return.

I 100% forgot about that. This is something that is definitely lost in the discussion.

This is truly a pie in the face moment for Dems.

And right now...the pie is slowly sliding down their faces after they were hit with it.

They got absolutely nothing out of this. THey lost on every front and from every angle..

Thank goodness they didn’t make a deal or we’d have a bunch of so-called ‘Dreamers’ with citizenship by now.
