Trump Employs an Old Tactic: Using Race for Gain
Long before he ignited a firestorm by telling four Democratic congresswomen of color to "go back" to their home countries, even though three were born in the United States and all are citizens, Mr. Trump sought to pit Americans against one another along racial lines.
Over decades in business, entertainment and now politics, Mr. Trump has approached America’s racial, ethnic and religious divisions opportunistically, not as the nation’s wounds to be healed but as openings to achieve his goals, whether they be ratings, fame, money or power, without regard for adverse consequences.
It’s a shame you can’t criticize someone of a different skin color without being called a racist.
Specifically, it tends to be a White person might criticize a person of a different skin color and then the racist card is used against that White person.
The only way Trump could get into power was (and is) by race baiting, xenophobia, and jingoism. Look at the way he has been going after Rep. Elijah Cummings today because Cummings dared to criticize the treatment of asylum seekers on the border. Apparently part of being "great again" is to tear children from their mother's arms and put people in cages without enough food and clean drinking water. If you have the wrong skin color you will end up being sacrificed on the alter of Trump's "greatness."
You should have waited longer to post this. The anti-Trumpers already pretended to be outraged by this last week. It'll be difficult to rile them back up this soon.

The Democrats have long used race to shut down conversation and silence anyone they disagree with. Nothing but business as usual for Democrats, with their long history -Slavery, the KKK and Jim Crow and urban ghettos.
