Oh come on...I am a white (albeit moderate) liberal and I have no issue with what he said. He might have waited another 24 hours but not going to quibble. He was merely pointing out facts...and we should never let data/facts upset us.
Time and place. Rosie O'Donnell and Oprah are fat. Fact. Do you think its OK to walk up to them and point that out? Islamists have been responsible for the bulk of religion-inspired terrorist attacks as of late and Muhammad married a six year old girl. But I think few people would support going into a mosque on Friday (or any other day) to point that out. Yes, two extreme examples, but we get to the extremes if we start going down that road.
While probably not the time to tweet it, he is absolutely right. People are really undereducated on statistics and probabilities in this country.
I wonder how much education can help with that. Many just can't seem to grasp statistics, probabilities, rates, trends, etc. Maybe we need smarter people.

However, it is arguably very uncommon for multiple claims of sexual misconduct to occur and each has questionable reliability.
