CNN’s Troubles Continue: Don Lemon Sued, April Ryan’s Bodyguard Seen Accosting Journalist

April Ryan, a top political analyst at CNN, is also embroiled in a potentially litigious situation after appearing to approve of her bodyguard removing a credentialed journalist from an event at which she was speaking.

Charlie Kratovil, editor of New Brunswick Today, was covering the New Jersey Parent Summit on Aug. 3, where Ryan was giving a speech.

...
He said the bodyguard, identified as Joel Morris, threatened to remove Kratovil’s camera and tried to get him to stop recording as Ryan was praised for getting a “Freedom of the Press” award.

Ryan took the stage and began speaking but paused to speak to Morris. He asks her something and she nods and he went back to Kratovil, took his camera equipment, and walked out of the ballroom.

...
As they walked out, Ryan told the attendees: “When I speak, I don’t have news covering my speech.

You know the principle... what radical liberals accuse others of doing, are the exact things they do.

IDK who she is. Don't care. But, her speech was to a private group.

Did they give him permission to be in their paid for hall?

He said he was invited to cover the event. The event was in NJ. He was from New Brunswick.

If you had read the article...

“Kratovil had been invited to cover the event by a public-relations firm working with the organizers, had gone through the registration system and RSVP’d his attendance, did not conceal his video-recording activity, and had no outward indication that videography was prohibited in the venue. (Journalists had been freely admitted to cover other events during the Summit, including shooting video),” the group wrote.

It was a private event. If they want to restrict cameras, that is their perogative.

But they didn't restrict cameras... April Ryan did.

The bodyguard has been charged with assault... I would love to see Ryan charged as an accessory since she ordered the attack!

April Ryan isn't a politician and this was a private event.

So........

Also, were you denouncing the President when he wanted Acosta banned from the WH press room?
