They know what they're selling "climate alarmism" is a bunch of hooey. At least his selling the lie of climate alarmism has allowed him to have a carbon footprint a million times more than the Trump supporters he blames it on...nice hypocrisy gig eh?

They finally paid off their student debt. Then made millions.

Good for them.

The house is 600 feet away from the sea and the land is elevated as it gets closer to the home. The home is far enough away from the shore and high enough in elevation to handle the projected rise in sea level.

Whose projections? According to Algore's rock solid prediction, that house should have been under water by 1982.

Obama's a piker compared to Moscow Mitch, getting mega rich while a politician.

But, Mitch married money. That accounts for part of it. Her father and her uncle and their Chinese business ties increased his bottom line. Of course being in the cabinet gives her opportunity, too.

Sometimes after a severe storm the foundations of old hotels were exposed---buildings that had been there 100 years ago with foundations now out in the deep water.

The water does seem to be rising. We were getting ocean life creatures that were native to more southern waters. Don't talk about it if you haven't lived next to the ocean and have seen it first hand. I'm sure the Obamas won't have to worry about their house being washed away in their lifetimes and it's a place they vacationed with their kids so it makes sense for them to buy it. Doesn't mean global warming doesn't exist.
Obviously you can't comprehend the meaning of erosion. Those who've never lived long term next to or very near coastal waters may not know what that is. You say you lived on the coast. Either you are intentionally spewing rumors or, you just aren't that knowledgeable about coastal erosion.

Yes! The ocean rises at times. It's called tide. The moon, sun and rotation of the earth causes the tide.

Now back to erosion. Waves pound the coast 24/7. Roughly every 10 to 20 seconds waves crash into land. That causes erosion. One way to stop erosion is to place objects such as bolders, concrete/cement obstacles, pilings, etc. at the point where the waves are eroding the land.

The severity of the waves depends greatly on weather, moon and sun. When there is high winds, the waves are greater in size and strength. The greater the strength and size of waves, the greater the rate of erosion.

I've also lived on the coast pretty much my entire life and still continue to. The coast has had zero changes in water level rise, with the only exception of the tides, storm related waves, etc. Who do you really think you're bs'ing with that retarded paragraph that your wrote and that I highlighted above? Or if you're just that plain "uninformed".

Buzz words to look up and research are:

Tide
Erosion

Here, I'll get you started.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mavericks,_California

This is an example of what causes erosion. We have the Mavericks at a specific time of the year, when the waves are at their greatest size and intensity. These such waves cause great amounts of erosion along the coast.

And by the way, sand doesn't help against erosion because it's the first to be moved by the relentless pounding of the waves 24/7 every day Always. Even wind moves/erodes sand. Every so often the Great Highway is shut down for sand removal off the street.

And, if you are on the upper Texas coast, add in subsidence. We are sinking at an alarming rate.

Speaking of erosion and sand. When the storm surge during Carla was leaving, it also took the sand. From what my mom learned, the tide washed underneath the foundation of her house. The tide washed the sand away from the piling that went down to rock and the house collapsed and went out with the tide. There was not even a lot left.

Hope those Martha's Vineyard houses are on rock.
