I'm bringing this up in every climate thread from here forward. The Obamas' desire to showcase their wealth and status has throttled the "beloved" of the left: "climate change emergency/crisis/existential-threat/whatever"

LOL.

I guess they aren't all that worried about catastrophic sea-level rise swamping their 27 acres of private beach and turning their mansion into a submarine. Nope. No concern at all. It's almost like it's a big lie being foisted on people to bring about socialism.

But they'll get behind the EPA recommendation to keep your thermostat at 86 in the summer. Not for them of course! For you! The little people. Oh yeah, and no more meat for you, you planet killer! Meat is only for "people who care".

Rich socialists all seem to have an endless supply of hypocrisy mixed with a mind-numbing lack of self-awareness. Rich socialists HATE socialism. especially for themselves.

I have NO PROBLEM Obama or anyone buying a ocean front mansion, on an Island. None. I DO have a problem with him preaching to me and people CREATING POLICY to force a reduction in my standard of living and quality of life, while they are exempt from that policy, and are willing to ignore it. Pure HYPOCRISY.

That's quite a claim that deserves some sources/evidence to back it up.
"The Trump/GOP tax cuts for the wealthy will add over $1.5 trillion in debt," said the National Committee to Preserve Social Security and Medicare. "Now we know how they'll pay for those tax cuts, by cutting Social Security and Medicare." https://www.commondreams.org/news/20...ring-slashing#

Of course there are pictures of his parents, but you probably won't find them on "The Blaze" or "Gateway Pundit"

Obama haters are angry that the Obamas can afford a $15 million house, but not that we, the United State taxpayers have financed Trump's Maralago and golf outings to the tune of $108,000,000.00--so far.

Obama haters cheered when Trump hugely lied to them and said he would never leave the WH to play golf.

But a former president buys a house and that is cause for great outrage!

Wrong. Only excessive spending adds to the debt.

Thank you for a good laugh to start the day. I know you probably won't read this because you'll be too busy kissing Trump's ring, but here are some of the "dam$ things" from 8 years of Obama.

Maybe you need to get your head out of the sand and examine the way Congress and the President conducts the nations business. It is no accident that they all leave office as multi-millionaires. Look it up. And its not from doing the peoples work, more like corporate Americas work. Democrat, Republican, doesnt matter. How many of them have gone on to help the citizen? How many? Almost none. They become high paid lobbyists, high priced lawyers, etc etc. Our crappy representatives, Presidents included, arent out there helping the citizen. They are members of the 1% club and thats who they care about. Not you or me.
