Illegal aliens can't join our military so no, they haven't fought in our wars.
Sorry, I conflated two ideas. I meant among the Americans on the list for subsidizing housing - those who fought in wars should get priority. Illegals should under no circumstances get housing over honest Americans.
Because we are a society. The purpose of society includes providing a social safety net. I am sure you would rather the disabled, children without parents, people who can’t work due to illness, etc. die starving in the street, but that isn’t how a society works.

What has been created is not a social safety net, but an ever growing segment of the population that are “generational dependents”, otherwise known as the democrat base. However, given the failure to deliver on decades of promises, the democrats are seeing an exodus of that base, which explains their new embrace of illegals, and prioritizing their interests over the American citizens.
The elimination of poverty in the United States would result in the virtual elimination of the democrat party, which explains why we see the extreme degradation in liberal run cities across the country. Poverty is viewed as the democrat’s best friend, while prosperity is the enemy.

Well the Democrats in congress certainly are for illegals so why do you keep voting for them? Many mainstream Democrats are for illegals also and they are either bleeding heart liberals without a brain in their heads, profit from illegal labor or have ethnic ties to them.

They shouldn't be allowed to serve in our military, but if they did, they did it voluntarily and were offered compensation the same as an American veteran, so why should they get an extra bonus of citizenship?

The only way illegals can join our military is by using fraud either by themselves or on the part of a recruting officer. There may have been cases in the past when we were at war but under normal circumstances and without fraud involved illegal aliens cannot lawfully enlist in our military. Legal immigrants can join our military and offered citizenship for doing so, however.
