No. We don't have a gang problem that as bad as our lone wolf problem. Gang members are arrested. The lone wolves aren't. Gangs go after other gangs. The lone wolves go after the rest of us.

I don't expect to ever be shot by a gangster. But I know a lone wolf could shoot me at any time these days, and never know he's coming.

So you're claiming that joker theater shooter wasn't arrested?

I hate to burst your bubble, but he was.

And are you also claiming everyone killed by a gang member was involved in gangs?

You should really do some research.

So, for a moment let's assume that's true. We have a totally unknown menace and no way to predict the unpredictable. Generally most of us buy insurance for such matters.

What now?

And this one year old baby in Chicago who was shot in the head was in a gang?

11 mass shootings within 30 days in one city is not a gang problem?

"Good guy" is captive in a store.

The usual situation is that "Good guy" with a gun runs away from the shooter rather than towards him, and the shooter gets to kill as many people as he can.

Does this make the wanna be "Good guys" on this forum feel better when they'll always run from the threat?

The good guy has insurance. He or she does not not have insurance for others. Not all Gun 0wners are life guards, but have saved people when they can.

Circumstances dictate reaction.
