I thought he would already be out of office due to Russian collusion?

Oh, that's right, it was Hillary that colluded with the Russians when she paid a foreign agent to work with Russians on a dossier to influence our elections.

Pretty hypocritical stance you have there.

CNN would not have a source in a lot of their crap or it'd be an "anonymous" source if they even bothered to list such...thats another reason why they are the king of fake news.
CNN is reporting it. Fox is reporting it. Neither CNN or Fox is saying who their source was.

So tell me again why CNN is "fake news" and Fox isn't?

Since he is a complete obstructionist AND the president, that wasn't happening. Collusion is not a crime, it's a behavior that isn't illegal no matter what the radical right's talking points lead you to believe. It's for when he is out of office, maybe for paying off porn stars, money laundering or working for the benefit of Putin/Russia.

CNN wasn't reporting it at the time the post was made. They came in about half an hour after the Fox News story.

That's about right.

I see that happen frequently with stories. One outlet releases the story and the others don't always jump on it right away.

The number of times CNN has been caught red handed on promoting fake news speaks for itself. It is well documented if you do some research.

Well, if it's anti Democrats, CNN often doesn't report it at all.

It is about time.

Here we go....
Quite frankly none of the story makes sense. He is the US Attorney, he is the one who charges, who is the recommendation to? And why would MCcabe know in advance and have a chance to appeal?

The DOJ is full of US Attorneys. The DOJ has lots of rules about how to do their business and apparently when the charges are against a high ranking government official, approval has to come from someone high up in the department. This is not that unusual. Since the DOJ has an internal vetting process, McCabe and his attorneys were winding their way through and part of that administrative process includes appeals. They are going by the book.

Barr continues to be one of the most dangerous men in Washington behind Trump and Moscow Mitch.

Quote:
McCabe’s team was told last month that line prosecutors had recommended charges, and later, that D.C. U.S. Attorney Jessie K. Liu had endorsed that decision, a person familiar with the matter said. Last month, McCabe’s team had appealed to Rosen in what was considered one of the final efforts to persuade officials not to move forward and seek an indictment from a grand jury. The legal team had been waiting to hear back.

The notification comes as a federal grand jury investigating McCabe was suddenly recalled this week after a months-long hiatus — an indication its members would likely be asked soon to consider bringing charges. But the panel left with no immediate signs of an indictment — a sign they might have balked, been asked to return later or filed a determination under seal.

To bring an indictment, prosecutors would have to convince 12 of the 23 grand jurors to sign onto the decision.

The decision, whenever it is made clear, is likely to inflame partisan divisions and once again thrust the Justice Department to the center of a political combat zone.

But criminal charges? At least based on what’s in the inspector general’s report, this is very far from a criminal case. Criminal dispositions on false statements matters in internal investigations are exceptionally rare. Absent some gross aggravating factor, I struggle to think of any other examples. Workplace false statements are normally handled through internal disciplinary means, not criminal charges. There are countless public cases of gross misconduct and lies about that misconduct that are routinely declined as criminal matters.

Default BREAKING: DOJ Will Charge Andrew McCabe

Quote:
U.S. Attorney Jessie Liu has recommended moving forward with charges against Andrew McCabe, Fox News has learned, as the Justice Department rejects a last-ditch appeal from the former top FBI official.
McCabe — the former deputy and acting director of the FBI — appealed the decision of the U.S. attorney for Washington all the way up to Jeffrey Rosen, the deputy attorney general, but the department rejected that request, according to a person familiar with the situation…

A source close to McCabe’s legal team said they received an email from the Department of Justice which said, “The Department rejected your appeal of the United States Attorney’s Office’s decision in this matter. Any further inquiries should be directed to the United States Attorney’s Office.”

Hopefully, the first of many indictments for the deep state liberals who orchestrated the coup attempt. Great news!
