CNN would have to vet the story. Fox News story said 'Fox News' has learned but it doesn't cite how they learned. There isn't an official announcement.
Conservative sites are jumping on it.
CNN is wise to figure out how Fox News 'learned' of it before they ran with the story.
McCabe's Lawyers "leaked" the story - I saw it reported on Bloomberg (1st thread on this) and again on ABC, CBS, USA Today. CNN finally posted the story.
CNN is not known for "vetting" anything - Even the NY Times, Washington Post and the CIA have mostly recently called them out on their Fake News.
