I apologize for reviving this thread. Timcast vlogged about Greta's latest move: it's about ending patriarchy and colonianism.
There's lots to imagine some Willy Wonka and sceptical kid new memes about Greta and patriarchy. https://imgflip.com/i/3i3e5x
Well, I have no opinion to express about Greta and her objectives, but I listened for awhile to that man in the video and had to turn him off. His angry yelling and fear-filled witch hunting opinions about the girl child was so out of control he was making me grind my teeth. He sounded like he would be happy to crucify her and be the first one to wield the hammer to nail her to a cross.
What a furious, frightened, loud, ultra-conservative, ultra-capitalistic, patriarchal, controlling, sarcastic, rude, arrogant, opinionated, entitled, spoiled, denialist, ignorant, mean-spirited and thoroughly jaded person. He strikes me as the type of person that can't utter anything at all without being loud and snide about it.
Makes me wonder about the lack of intelligence of people who want to listen to somebody spouting that kind of ugliness. Ugh! A truly repulsive person who thinks he's "all that and a bag of chips".
The Competitive Enterprise Institute (CEI) is a advocacy group based in Washington DC with long ties to tobacco disinformation campaigns and more recently to climate change denial.
Overall, we rate the Competitive Enterprise Institute Questionable based on far right bias, promotion of propaganda, use of poor sources, lack of transparency with funding, and a general rejection of scientific consensus.

If the message is correct, who is delivering it is irrelevant.
That's my take on it....and absolutely no one has challenged them on it....or said anything they said was not the facts
...and they lay out some serious charges against a group of people that are sue happy
Anywho....I haven't kept up with Gretta and her escapes...only when some news outlet has her up again
But serious question....she wouldn't take a plane or anything like that to get to Spain...but when I did see her in the news, she seemed to be jumping all over this country...Calif one time...then back to the east coast another time
Does anyone know how she was getting around like that? she wasn't walking or riding a bike...

Greta Thunberg looks like an angry little 8 year old. It's weird how people have rallied around her and even look to her as a leader and hero. I don't see why people get so excited over her.

To be fair, she'll be 17 years old January 3, 2020, so she's actually older than they portray her in order to get sympathy. You know the pigtails and all.

It's simple....I do not take messages at face value, but first always check the source. If the source is dishonest, or invalid for some other reason, then I attempt to verify the message. If I'm unable to do that, then why should I comment on the message?
Who is going to produce less CO2 this year to offset me producing more?
I'm not holding my breath ...
