-First, an impeachment resolution must be introduced by a member of the House of Representatives.
-The speaker of the House must then direct the U.S. House Committee on the Judiciary (or a special committee) to hold a hearing on the resolution to decide whether to put the measure to a vote by the full chamber and when to hold such a vote.
-A simple majority of the Judiciary Committee must approve the resolution
-If the Judiciary Committee approves the resolution, it moves to a full vote on the House floor.
-If a simple majority of the those present and voting in the House approve an article of impeachment, then the president is impeached.
LOL, yeah, I understand, it, but somehow you seem to think that is relevant to a discussion about an impeachment inquiry that hasn't been authorized. The fact that you can move forward without an inquiry doesn't mean that there's currently an inquiry going on.
What about this sentence are you not understanding?
Individual Members of the House can introduce impeachment resolutions like ordinary bills, or the House could initiate proceedings by passing a resolution authorizing an inquiry.

I can't spell that out any easier for you.

LOL, you realize what YOU have posted about a dozen times now suggests that presidential impeachment inquires are authorized by a resolution in the house right?
Are you being serious or just messing with me here?

So, than - You are saying that none of the subpoenas being issued by the House committees to compel document production and testimony have any legal standing?
There are quite a few people who will be greatly relieved to hear that. They can tell all those lawyers they hired to go home, now.

Not just anyone has the power to tell them that they don't have to cooperate, without a legitimate inquiry taking place, the executive does though. So unless they want to authorize a legitimate inquiry, they have no standing to compel the executive to cooperate in any way.

That would be a resolution in the House Judiciary Committee, the Hon. Adam Schiff presiding.
