In contrast to what one would think of the term "liberal", the modern liberal has become far less tolerant of other groups and more closed minded when considering different ideas. Liberals are, in fact, the opposite of being liberal and are consistently intolerant of other groups.

The study below looked at a number of different groups and their actual, vs perceived, level of prejudice toward certain entities. Liberals and democrats were far less tolerant and more prejudiced than conservatives, explaining the commonly seen liberal intolerance of free speech and dissenting opinions.

One sees this in practice, in which groups often assaulting others of different views and preventing others from speaking are nearly always liberals.

You're intolerance of 50% of America, which you disparage by your choice of words used to describe them, is why Trump will win easily in 2020. You can't possibly sneak in enough illegals by then to make a difference. Your level of hatred of your fellow Americans has no place in a free, modern, civilized society.

The problem is when you are so sure you're right everything else loses its depth and meaning.

Sure You are good and screwing up towns and people where ever you go: Detroit, Baltimore, Chicago, and Now LA and SF. Maybe you can build a few more high rise condos that turn into high rise Ghettos How about some Needle distribution centers, or a few more Sanctuary Cities

Another way to look at it...

The most targeted groups for discrimination are also the most prejudice... there is a good reason for that and the fault doesn't completely lie with the targeted groups. Once the line trends past 0.0, the rest of the remaining groups are among the most privileged in the country.

Let's take Atheists for example... there are still laws that specifically prevent an Atheist from holding public offices due to Religious qualifications.

It is easy to point the finger at someone else while standing on a pilar of privilege.

"Closed minded" isn't something you derive from the study.. btw.... You can almost use the same graph and outline groups from least inclusionary to most inclusionary.

Cons have gone full nutter defending an insane criminal maniac and cannot countenance the thought for even an instant that the maniac is capable of doing ANYTHING wrong.

So don't talk about closed mindedness.
