Yes. It probably is now, especially. Can you imagine working at the White House at this time? Apparently, DJT yells and throws very angry fits. Plus, he is a dumbbell who doesn’t listen to advice and does stupid things. Very difficult to try to be one of his advisors.

Carl Bernstein: Sources say William Barr preparing to deliver 'evidence' of a 'deep state conspiracy'

https://www.washingtonexaminer.com/n...ate-conspiracy

Quote:
Bernstein appeared to be referencing the Justice Department's review of the origins of the Russia investigation being led by U.S. Attorney John Durham, examining whether there was any misconduct by Justice Department and FBI officials.

Barr said in May that Mueller did not assess the early stages of the Trump-Russia investigation, which is what he is doing now. "We should be worried about whether government officials abused their power and put their thumb on the scale," he told Fox News.

Democrats have expressed alarm with the DOJ inquiry, particularly after Trump granted Barr broad authority to declassify information related to the federal investigation into possible ties between the Trump campaign and Russia. For instance, House Judiciary Chairman Jerry Nadler called the move part of a "plot to dirty up the intelligence community, to pretend that there's something wrong with the beginning of the Mueller investigation and to persecute and bring into line the intelligence agencies."

So Bernstein is trying to spin the investigation into how slimy the intelligence community was before it comes out.

This has zero to do with "feelings" and everything to do with the law.

The last election is history, it is over and done with...it seems to be Republicans who can't let go, all I ever see is"but, but, but Hillary..."

And the one that is dividing the country and tearing it apart is sitting in the Oval Office right now...he never ceases trying to divide us...whether it be by race, gender, religion or Political Party. We are all Americans, all equally despite any of those differences.

Nah, we all know the Republican side of the Senate holds themselves and their leader Capt. Queeg above the law and don't have the backbone to actually put country ahead of their whiny little party boss.
No, the Republicans in office in the Senate will never vote to find Justice in this matter, they have shown they care about their Political Party, above their country and all else...This lack of integrity, honesty and decency is why I (who was a Republican for Decades will not vote for anyone with a R besides their name any time soon.
It might even hurt the Democrats Politically to do this, but they still should do it...it's the ethical, moral and right thing to do.
You can't just sit back and let this kind of corrupt, unethical, illegal behavior go, just for the sake of Politics and for a vote or two. If you did, you would be no better, no less corrupt than the GOP Senators who are doing just that.

By his own words, which are deeply troubling he had proven this to all be true.
And don't think for a moment that he didn't know what he was doing....that is the reason he tried to cover it up, by putting it on his "super secret server"...he knew what he was doing, that is why he was trying to hide it.

Republicans... Your president and Party have done things which just a scant few years ago you all would easily have seen as breathtakingly corrupt, improper and just lowest common denominator dumb.

In your hearts, in your souls... You know this. You know that this level of footsie with foreign governments to help this POTUS is bad nees. You KNOW it.

But you are afraid. Afraid to admit that you got led here by demagoguery and lies and being fed "outrage" to the point you can't even remember a time before you were being instructed to view half of the country as your mortal enemy. That supposed righteous anger feels good and you don't want to let that go. You don't want to even voice the opinion that you know deep down that this man was always unfit, always corrupt and has simply brought his corruption into the White House on a scale we perhaps have never witnessed before. Saying that around others like you would be giving the other side a win, and that hurts.

But all that? It doesn't matter. Your resentments and easily riled up fears don't matter. Any internal shame about helping to bring this all about and continually feeling the need to defend and carry water for Trump and the GOP... That's not important now.

If you are reading this and are a Republican or Conservative independent that voted for Trump... Nothing is actually keeping you from seeing how EVERYTHING practically all of Trump's opponents have said about him and most of those in his administration, and how the journalism reporting on his corrupt practices, ignorance, moral bankruptcy have been correct from the start.

Nothing.

And nothing excuses the continual circling of the wagons. Not your blanket disregard of the media, not dislike of "elites", not a feeling that you and yours are dismissed by Hollywood. None of that justifies allowing this authoritarian clown to continue to abuse his office, to act outside the bounds of our Democracy within a Republic's norms nor his consistent reliance upon the aide of foreign governments.

If any Republican or Conservative reading this takes anything away from this post... It is you still have the option of seeing reality and understand that this man and his minions are not worth your being more loyal to him and the Republicans than to the health of the nation or a commitment to principals of law, justice and indeed some semblance of honor, integrity and morality that a Democratic Republic requires as its lifeblood in order to even be halfway successful.

You all know this. Please... Have the courage to act on it.

Silly talk....what obama and the corrupt Biden's did was a billion times worse than anything Trump has done. The action I will take is more contributions to the Trump campaign and I may even be a like a Democrat and vote twice on election day.
