It's interesting to me that the only two sane persons (McCain and Romney) the Republicans ran in the last two decades, are both accused by their own party as not true Republicans.
It's as if a person is not stone cold crazy, that person does not belong in the GOP.

You have to remember one thing. The Republican party of Ronald Reagan is dead and gone. It is the Trumpist party now. A Trumpist party that puts Trump above all. To the Trumper, Trump is their Kim Jong Un. A leader to be worshiped and never questioned.
It's no secret. And you better believe that Trump is being held back by the same corruption. He didn't want to bomb Syria and wants to bring our troops home from the Middle East, but the big players probably threatened his family if he did try and go through with it. I also think Bill Clinton at one time was legit in trying to get us out, and that is why he was bogged down with all the impeachment nonsense, and by the time they were done with him, he threw in the towel and decided it was easier to become one of them than against them.
If it's true that Romney supports impeachment, God bless him. Finally one Republican with a conscience and love of country.
Maybe Romney can actually save the party from destroying itself?
