You can be critical of the problems of another nation and still fight problems in your own nation.
Sure you can... but if money is your god and the criticism results in losing money (even though they have tons of money already)... it can change what you claim to believe.
By buying up our private enterprise the Chinese have effectively exported Chinese censorship and pro communist propaganda to the west. Allowing China into the WTO, and the US hegemonic system, was maybe the worst decision in the last 50 years. For cheap goods we could have gotten elsewhere we allowed authoritarian communist tyrants to become a global power; economically, militarily, culturally. This is not good.

We can always choose not to accept their culture of censorship and communism. Somehow the desire for more and more money clouds what people say they believe.
