17. Get control of the schools. Use them as transmission belts for socialism and current Communist propaganda. Soften the curriculum. Get control of teachers' associations. Put the party line in textbooks.
18. Gain control of all student newspapers.
19. Use student riots to foment public protests against programs or organizations which are under Communist attack.
20. Infiltrate the press. Get control of book-review assignments, editorial writing, policy-making positions.
21. Gain control of key positions in radio, TV, and motion pictures.

The reauthorization Act was finally passed on March 2 by the Senate with a vote of 95-4, though this was opposed by Senator Feingold who unsuccessfully attempted to extend the sunsets.]The House voted 280-138 in favor of authorizing the Act
What really scares me is the technology we keep advancing. The internet knows our every move. And there is no way I would have Alexa or anything like that.
If you have a cell phone, or if you use an Internet browser, you already providing 75% of what Alexa could collect from you. The technology is enslaving us, this was the purpose from Day 1. Funny how no one ever asked in the early days why Facebook and Twitter were "free"; when in reality you are paying the ultimate cost - your right to privacy and providing an open door for your surveillance, permitted each and every time you agree to the terms and conditions of any software or application.
Anyone with a realistic understanding of our federal and State government understands that they are consistently involved in more and more egregious activity which are completely antithetical to the limits placed upon government via the respective Constitutions. Add to that the classified documents provided by Edward Snowden and released by WikiLeaks already revealed this and so much more to the entire world... so this really is nothing new.
But then again, that's just MY opinion, for what it's worth.
We were voting our way into it regardless of who was running and who won, so sad face and a big no!
Well, I never voted and always encourage everyone to avoid any and all "imperial entanglements" (thanks Obi-Wan) so I'm free and clear.
And for that I get to pay my taxes to have myself spied on. Wonder what I'm up to today (puts a dollar in the tax jar in hopes of finding out)?
