Affirmative action itself is essentially saying, "We are fighting for those that have been oppressed by oppressing or discriminating or condemning the majority or ruling class". Fighting discrimination with discrimination seems better in theory than actually being implemented.

“Affirmative action” is a euphemism for two wrongs make a right.

You don't find that offensive to minorities AND Asians?
I find it offensive that you assume the other minorities arent smart enough to get the answer right. You guys talk about the bigotry of low expectations, but dont see your own.

Last but not least, colleges look at more than score.

if you have a 4.0 but have nothing else on your application. then the kid with a 3.7, who plays an instrument, and volunteers on the weekend is going to get a spot over you.

and the kid with a 3.6 who does all of that while sleeping in his moms car is going to get in over both.

I assume that? I don't make the laws. I assume that minorities are just as bright as white students and don't need anything dumbed down for them.

I know what colleges look at. I went to college and sent my kids to college. That's not at all what I'm talking about and you know it.

I attempted to look up the seminar/conference/whatever per BSU's site and it was all privatized.

And you try to research or find out more and all it does is lock you out or say "private event".

It's a public university. How in the world is everything so secretive?

What are they doing behind closed doors? A new Manhattan Project involving nuclear potatoes?

Almost all colleges have been taken over by SJWs. The administrative ranks tend to be the worst because they are mostly failed academics who get into these positions because they scream "diversity" the loudest.

In other words...the authors of the article have no idea what it's really about but alarming titles make good click bait.
That such insanity is being discussed at all is damning. Clown World is here.
