I don't understand why the number of shots has become the primary issue.
To me, the real issue is whether they were justified in using deadly force at all?
One unjustified shot is as bad as many, if justified I don't see the number as the primary issue.
50 shots shows that the police where in a authority fit. They where going to punish these people for DARING to not listen to the high and mighty police officers (who where not in uniform and did not show ID and used unmarked cars)...

Like I've said, justified shoot or not? Number of shots is not the primary issue. One shot can make you just as dead as 50 or 500 0r 5,000 shots.
Nmber of shots may be due to the adrenalin rush of believing your life in danger as much as else.
I can guarantee you that if an unmarked van tried to block ME in, I would react in the exact same way. And I can also guarantee you that as a young, white female, they NEVER would have shot 50 shots at my car.
The one time I've ever gotten pulled over (and that was only for a light being out.. just got a warning), I called the local police to make *sure* it was a legitimate cop since there was an issue here a few years ago with people being "pulled over" by criminals acting as cops in unmarked cars. Even if the men in the van had yelled that they were police, there's no way in HELL that I'd believe them given the circumstances.
The fact that these cops got off is absolutely ridiculous.
The cops got off which im not the least bit surprised. They should of at least been fired. With bum cops like this around it makes it hard to trust the police. More & more cops are killing innocent people & getting away with it. I am not bashing the police but i am stating the facts.
