Trump bragged today that he did "not have one single negative Republican vote" regarding impeachment, and he's right.
And what that proves is the near universal cowardice of the Republican party.
No, what it shows is that the dems don't care about anything, to include the truth...and the repubs understand what was done, oh, and the dems are still mad becuase they lost....several times now...russia, stormy...etc.....to bad....
They still won't care...this guy has more knowledge than the LTC and the whistleblower combined....yet this will still go on...because the dems are mad and throwing a fit....because they lost in 2016....

"More knowledge" about what?
You realize he corroborated most/all of Taylor's testimony, yes? That's not good for Trump.
Pelosi, Schiff, and Lawfare outsmarted the R's. The D's passed a resolution giving themselves all the power while at the same time having a vote by the whole House of Representatives the R's wanted. A win for the impeachers.
Not really, it exposed the process for what it is, a partisan witch hunt and got vulnerable Democrats on the record supporting it, though there were 2 defections. That's a win for Republicans who will absolutely use it against them when campaigning to take back the house.
The Democrats were going to keep going with the unauthorized process if they weren't forced to legitimize the process with a vote proving there is no bipartisan support for the coup.
This is likely a pyrrhic victory for house Democrats.
Several important points are made in this editorial.
After knowledge of the presidential holdup of the $391 million in aid to Ukraine became public, the president asked Barr for a formal legal opinion that dirt on a political opponent is not a thing of value.
Barr had his researchers and writers in the Office of Legal Counsel oblige. That legal opinion, which Trump has touted as a form of exoneration, has been so widely mocked in legal and political circles – because dirt on an opponent is the most valuable commodity for a political campaign, and candidates pay dearly for it – that congressional Republicans have stopped referring to it.

More knowledge about what is right and what is not right. And he clearly stated what he said....because he corroborated testimony...so? He still said what he said, and as I stated, I'd believe him more than the LTC and whistleblower.

They outsmarted themselves. I cant say this enough. The more the republicans feel scammed, the less likely any of them are, to vote to convict in the senate. They will feel that payback is in order. Please, democrats, pull out every dirty trick in the book. Please, exclude the republicans as much as possible from the process. P!$$ off the Republicans as much as possible!
There is no doubt in my mind, that no matter what is said or done, the democrats are impeaching Trump in the house.
Thanks to Democrats, there is no doubt in my mind, no matter what is said and done, the republicans are exonerating Trump in the Senate.
And better yet, they will feel justified in doing it.
