Trump withheld security aid authorized by Congress to force the Ukrainian President into smearing a political opponent by publicly announcing an investigation.
Republicans claim it was no big deal as others ultimately prevented this from happening.
Trump froze the aid. HE did; no one else. Just because you don't like the facts doesn't make them fake. Another fact; Ukrainians died because they did not have access to the money to buy the weapons that would help them fight the Russian bullies next door. And that was because of, guess who? Trump. Because Congress already approved the aid package and once again, Trump went over their heads and did what he wanted for his own personal gain. Truth.

I'd like the verifiable evidence of your claims that these Ukrainian soldiers died as a direct result of a lack of access to weapons due to Trump. According to CNN, the U.S. released 200 million in defensive aid to the Ukraine in 2018.

Both parties(Republicans and Democrats) with the mainstream media that supports them are going to be on a spinning spree to the best of the ability to favor their argument. They will also use it as a leverage to try to get people who remain in the middle and think objectively to get confused as to what side to believe in or get behind to support or be against impeaching Trump.
Even on Fox News they are saying the testimony is very damaging to Trump.

Ukraine knew the aid was cut off.
