It's that simple. When you're born with a silver spoon in your mouth you can do a lot that makes you look smart, even if you aren't.

Well you're certainly correct about that. I personally know a fellow personally who was born on 3rd base...but seems to think he hit a triple in life. We still laugh about that comment a mutual friend made about him...and it's spot on.

In addition to Trump representing this principle, you can certainly add Gavin Newsom (beneficiary to some of the Getty "oil" fortune, among other wealthy beneficiaries too) to this list. And his fortune has grown considerably since entering public "service"....go figure.
