America has needed allied help far more often You needed allied help in Korea. There wouldn't even be a South Korea if it hadn't been for allies other than Americans being begged by American generals to hold the line at Kapyong. Vietnam, allies again - and EVERY other time you put boots on the ground in a foreign country. Afghanistan, Iraq - you name it and you weren't there alone.
You needed help when your embassy staffers in Iran needed a place to hide and passports to escape.
You needed help during 9/11 when the skies were full of Americans running out of fuel with no place to land because you cowards deemed them too great a threat to allow to fly into their own dang airspace.
You needed help during that terrible ordeal to the extent you're still to this day the only country to ever have requested enactment of article 5 of the NATO mandate.
You needed help with virtually every major natural disaster you've ever had, with it arriving in Katrina's case before your own FEMA got it's sorry azzes out of their own parking lots.
Their have been any number of natural disasters happen in Canada without Canada needing help from the U.S.
The U.K., another NETO country went to war with Argentina without needing or wanting American help.

Like I said, we've got your back. Canada is safe because you're our ally first but especially since we are right under you and we share a continent and border.

If you do want to play at historical fiction, do you think the US was really looking out for Canada during the Cold War because they couldn't stand the thought of their neighbours to the north being subjugated by a foreign power? Or do you think it was more worry over the hundreds of miles of undefended border they would suddenly share with the USSR if Canada were invaded?
Either way, it didn't happen, so you can't take credit for it. I can tell you that thousands of Canadians did fight alongside the US in Afghanistan when the Twin Towers were destroyed by Al Qaeda. That really happened.

To say Trump is a National Embarrassment who has made America the Laughingstock of the World, would even be an understatement. He is a national threat, disgrace, and danger.
Try to remember folks, one of the main reasons Putin's Russia installed Trump was to weaken the EU and NATO alliance with America.
