There wouldn't even be a South Korea if it hadn't been for allies other than Americans being begged by American generals to hold the line at Kapyong. Vietnam, allies again - and EVERY other time you put boots on the ground in a foreign country. Afghanistan, Iraq - you name it and you weren't there alone.

You needed help when your embassy staffers in Iran needed a place to hide and passports to escape.
You needed help during 9/11 when the skies were full of Americans running out of fuel with no place to land because you cowards deemed them too great a threat to allow to fly into their own dang airspace.
You needed help during that terrible ordeal to the extent you're still to this day the only country to ever have requested enactment of article 5 of the NATO mandate.
You needed help with virtually every major natural disaster you've ever had, with it arriving in Katrina's case before your own FEMA got it's sorry azzes out of their own parking lots.

Their have been any number of natural disasters happen in Canada without Canada needing help from the U.S.

The U.K., another NETO country went to war with Argentina without needing or wanting American help.
Oh Canada!!!!!!!!! Isn't that your anthem?

Lol you need us WAYYYYY more than we need you.

End of story.

Would have probably means nothing. Let's stick to reality.

If you do want to play at historical fiction, do you think the US was really looking out for Canada during the Cold War because they couldn't stand the thought of their neighbours to the north being subjugated by a foreign power? Or do you think it was more worry over the hundreds of miles of undefended border they would suddenly share with the USSR if Canada were invaded?

Either way, it didn't happen, so you can't take credit for it. I can tell you that thousands of Canadians did fight alongside the US in Afghanistan when the Twin Towers were destroyed by Al Qaeda. That really happened.

I hope that made you feel better.

Of course, you avoided responding to any of Brusan's points. But hell, why bother? USA! USA!

Can't refute facts with any facts so go with the repeating of nonsense.

A normal and expected "oh yeah, well your momma wears army boots" rejoinder.

Canadians and their inferiority complex...all the while acting like they have it better there....it's pretty amusing.

Maybe I'm just sick of interacting with you people.

We're your Daddy, get over it.

Haar! It isn't Canadians displaying an inferiority complex on here. The topic is about America being the laughingstock of the world with the O/P being an American.

Try to keep up, eh?

You're comical.

Canada is included in the list of insignificant countries that think we are a "laughing stock" so yes it's still germane to this discussion.

Which part is germane? The U.S. suffering from inferiority as witnessed by no less than four threads started by Americans to whine about their leader getting laughed off a continent -

OR The displayed tendency you have for ignoring facts and deflecting to childish nonsense?

Scary place, the mind of Trump’s fans.
Talk is cheap. I go by actions. So now that we are on the subject......

What about someone such as yourself who has made 34,000 posts about Trump. Started endless topics about Trump. Go on day after day, week after week, month after month, year after year making posts & topics about Trump. A person, which clearly don't like.

It speaks volumes to the insanity.

Correct? (remember you went there)

This topic is prime example. Are you actually insane?

To say Trump is a National Embarrassment who has made America the Laughingstock of the World, would even be an understatement. He is a national threat, disgrace, and danger.

Try to remember folks, one of the main reasons Putin's Russia installed Trump was to weaken the EU and NATO alliance with America.
and Trump seems to be excelling at that.
