I live in SE Alabama just across from Pensacola. There are trainer prop planes flying in this area on most days. Are these the same students that are at NAS Pensacola? What would prevent one of them just crashing into populated areas?

We do a lot of our shopping right outside this base. Today there was a lot of police activity in that area even after the shooting was over. The Walmart we go to has a lot of military shopping in it.

Once again in the rush to put their jerseys on and retreat to their corners, nobody is asking the right questions, such as
  1. How are the foreign military personnel vetted?
  2. Does this guy have any jihadi background?
  3. Are they allowed to be armed on base?
  4. Where did he get the gun and the extended magazine?
  5. Can they leave the base? Did he buy his gun in the country?
  6. Do they live on base? Who lived with him?
  7. How quickly was he put down?

Now take your Trump bashing instincts elsewhere and answer these questions. May be we'll learn something.

All of this -- and why are we having to ask these questions.

After 9/11 someone, anyone (yes all of the Presidents so relax)......anybody out there connect the dots on folks training to fly and the terrorists?

We are building a wall because we want to keep bad guys out and then we let Middle Eastern folks on our base.......oh okay......LOL

Hypocrisy bull **** at its best.

Yes and that keeps being brought up as some kind of 'excuse' for Trump.

We can't go back.

Let's live now.

Secure our borders ...that doesn't mean just a wall.

Mr. Trump, what dialogue will you have with Saudi Arabia?
There's an existing program in US and UK to train Saudis.

link

New pilots are graduated on preset dates without meeting flight hours minimums. Boeing contractors aren't meeting the requirements, while military flight instructors are being forced to fill in. Nice to be able to profit off the government and push off costs onto the taxpayer at the same time.

And then Haley gets a job on the Boeing Board....hmmmm wonder why -- she knows nothing about aircraft.

Crowds rushing the border in caravans and training foreign pilots aren't remotely similar. There are ongoing military to military cooperations between many nations. In this case it dates back to FDR. What should have Trump done? Revoked it? It's not the program, it's how it's run.

Latest shooter is a Saudi aviation student. Investigating if terror related.
Some people did something.

Trump has been relatively upfront about the Saudis. They buy a lot of stuff from him.

The Saudis is a pipeline of major future business

Trump Org and the Saudis Kingdom have been planning on developing country club resorts on various islands, for several years. The Saudis want to compete with Dubai. All has been put on the back burner while Trump remains in office.
