Direct evidence proved Donald Trump's guilt. When Mulvaney and Sondland both said there was quid pro quo in the plan to extort Ukraine, that was direct first-hand testimony, not hearsay because both of them aren't just witnesses, they are unindicted co-conspirators.
And regarding obstruction of Congress, there has been silence on that charge. Trump and his defenders have not denied it and have presented no arguments against it. Therefore Trump is guilty.
The Senate will be a sham trial. Moscow Mitch has already said he will collude with Trump's lawyers to make sure Trump is not removed. In so doing, McConnell will violate his oath.
