The Republicans can call Hunter Biden as well as Joe Biden to give testimony. Also Biden is going to keep getting asked why his son was on the board of a corrupt gas company making 50k a month.

What I see happening here is Trump and Rudy Giuliani are going to turn Joe Biden into what Hillary Clinton was in 2016 a corrupt politician.

Joe is going to have a tough time answering that question if you look at those town hall meetings he has had where someone asks him he gets angry that just looks like he can't explain it.

Nancy Pelosi just handed Trump 4 more years in the whitehouse. The only way I see the Dems having a slightest chance of winning in 2020 is if Biden drops out of the race and Elisabeth Warren / Sanders as her VP runs against Trump. That takes this entire situation off the table.

Pelosi should have investigated, and let this go at that. Now all we are going to talk about is Ukraine, Impeachment, Hunter Biden, and Joe Biden until summer time we head right into the election. You can't tell me that Joe Biden's run for office won't be damaged.

Are you making excuses?
They all probably told the president that they wouldn't lie for him.

The Dems are doing plenty of the lying on their own, they have been caught several times. Why have anyone testify if not needed.

You seem to be misunderstanding one of the core tenets of this Nation's founding was that powers were to be split between the 3 branches in order to prevent tyranny.

We are not a Monarchy.

Democrats on Sunday pushed back at GOP senators who they said appeared to have pre-judged the proceedings.

"Senate Democrats believe strongly, and I trust Senate Republicans agree, that this trial must be one that is fair, that considers all of the relevant facts, and that exercises the Senate's 'sole Power of Impeachment' under the Constitution with integrity and dignity," Schumer wrote to McConnell. "The trial must be one that not only hears all of the evidence and adjudicates the case fairly; it must also pass the fairness test with the American people."
Schumer proposes that Bolton and Mulvaney testify in Senate impeachment trial

The Senate Democratic leader proposed the outlines of impeachment proceedings in a letter to Majority Leader Mitch McConnell.

Notice no one expects this President to testify at trial. Wonder why that is?

An impeachment is an indictment, not a trial. No accused has an obligation to testify during the indictment process. As any defense attorney will tell you any accused person who chooses to testify during the indictment process is a fool.

Trump can't be made to testify since the Democrats don't have 67 votes to remove him in the Senate why would he risk that going into the 2020 election. Testifying at your own trial is almost always not advised because you can be cross examined on everything you said.

The Senate Republicans can force Joe, and Hunter Biden to testify that will be tough going into the 2020 election Joe Biden be the center piece of Corrupted politicians just like they did to Hillary in 2016.

What about Rudy he can be forced to testify as well he could land himself in prison if it turns out he was taking money from Ukraine.

Joe Biden should testify when Mulvaney, Pompeo, Perry, Jr, Kushner, Barr, and Guliani testify.

Hunter Biden is not running for president nor did he do anything illegal. Even if he did do something illegal, that still doesn't give Trump the right to shake down a foreign leader that is vulnerable to Russia to investigate a US citizen. Trump doesn't care about corruption, give us a break with that lie. If he cared about corruption he would start with his family and administration. He would start with his daughter that was not able to get patents from China UNTIL she entered the White House.

All of a sudden when Trump becomes president Kushner is granted all these government loans for real estate. Both of them have made over $80 million since entering the White House while Jr is going around the world killing animals. That family is more corrupt than anything the Bidens could ever do. They are the pot calling the kettle black.
