It will be interesting to see whether it makes the slightest difference in the abortion rate. I'd imagine the decision to abort is already pretty difficult for many women, so I'm not clear this will change things significantly.
No doubt there will be more self directed abortions done through drugs to avoid the ridiculous law. I don't see people wanting abortion banned minding that much. What they mainly want is abortion out of sight and out of mind by closing all abortion clinics.
