No doubt there will be more self directed abortions done through drugs to avoid the ridiculous law. I don't see people wanting abortion banned minding that much. What they mainly want is abortion out of sight and out of mind by closing all abortion clinics.

All of this effort put into making sure fetuses are born, but once they are born they couldn't care less.

Well you might have a point there as the baby has half the father's DNA. Maybe the other parent's consent should be needed?

Sure. Just as soon as he does half of the work to carry and deliver the resulting offspring. When his body, and health are on the line then he can have a say in the issue.

Just wanted to add that: 100 percent of abortions are caused by men impregnating the wrong partner.

An egg is viable for up to twenty-four hours, and sperm is viable for up to seven days. She can only try to prevent what's happening, but for sure he undoubtedly can prevent all of this.

All he has to do, is choose a like-minded partner and then choose again by not depositing his sperm.

Biologically, he has made consent twice but she has not - hence the reason for her choice. I think some dudes aren't aware of their responsibility and then try to control what they can no longer control.

Dumbass laws like this are a perfect example of how government causes healthcare costs in the US to be absolutely astronomical.

And for what, "feelings"?

Supreme Court leaves Kentucky abortion ultrasound law in place, draws fiery criticism from ACLU

https://www.usatoday.com/story/news/...ce/2629697001/

The appeals court agreed, writing in its ruling that there was “nothing suspect” about the state requiring a doctor to provide “truthful” information, “even if those disclosures relate to unborn life and have the effect of persuading the patient not to have an abortion."
What exactly is the purpose of this law...to change someone's mind? Then what? We have another person collecting welfare or another child in a foster home. How is that a win for anyone? Republicans only care that they are born, they don't care what happens to these kids after that. Pro lifers should be advocates for kids who are already here waiting for a home with loving parents.

In case you missed the news, there are no longer any differences between men and women. At least that's what the people you vote for would have us believe.

Why not have laws of this nature? Terminating the pregnancy is too merciful. Much more fun to watch the children and mothers suffer!

/sarcasm

Look if pregnancy is supposedly such an overwhelming burden surpassing all other burdens, then don't get pregnant with a pregnancy one doesn't even want. Some women act like being a man is so easy and children aren't a burden on them. It's just feminist horsecrap.
