Oh, and we can relocate our troops guarding the Korean border wall we built to our border.

What you say makes perfect sense, yet some people on this thread are in denial of the wall actually working.

We should be using modern, up-to-date methods for keeping illegal immigrants out. Also, most of the illegals are coming in other ways, like by airports.
Have you ever been to the actual border, the parts with old fences - virtual fences don't work without lots of manpower. Illegals are not coming by air - who fed you that bunk?

Funny how those who say this have never been to the border or experienced some of the issues. A bigger waste is supporting illegals and allowing anchor baby's that drain social program funds.

True.

Following construction of the San Diego border barrier, illegal crossings dropped 96% in the area where the barrier was constructed, but they ignore this.

Hoping they don't try works even less well - physical barriers are very effective - it takes a lot to go under, over or through the barrier being built. If it stops even a small percentage, it will have paid for itself. Supporting illegals is an incredible waste.

Most won't be determined enough to be able to succeed in getting through and that's the bottom line. Even most who are determined will be caught by the Border Patrol. The good physical barriers have already proven to deter most of them but that's not good enough unless it stops 100% of them? Typical, liberal stupidity.

No, he didn't. He parroted hundreds of times Mexico will pay them.

Tariffs are imposed on the American consumers, so he went from saying Mexico pays, to saying it is paid by tax-hikes. The truth is that he stole the money from the military.

Lot of Trump loyalists lack self respect and don't mind being lied to.

we would have more completed if the democratic and the court would stop fighting them every chance, they spending more money in court that what the barrier would cost

The walls built under the former administrations were inadequate. We were promised they would be double walls but congress changed it. Trump is trying to reinforce/correct that with good physical barriers that have already proven to work and build an additional 300 miles of them. Once again, there is no plan or need to wall off our entire border.
