Will we have a civil war when Trump is no longer President, regardless of how he leaves?

People who would take up arms against the US hate their country. The Black panthers in the 60's thought they were going to do the same thing and they came to a bad end. Waco came to a bad end also. I think it was in Philadelphia were the local government bombed and burned out a city block just to root a small group of insurgents called "Move" or something like that. I think these patriot groups believe that because they are not black they won't get the same treatment.

There are alot of other factors at play in Afghanastan. Geography is a HUGE one, pretty much no navy which gives us some of our best leverage. Also we have to fly everything in.

In the USA all of the military (and more importantly their gear) is all right here. They are also being financed and supplied from near by countries and have been a focal point for proxy wars for the last centruy.

So they can afford to keep fighting becasue they know that everything they take out is going to cost a ton to replace and fly in. But right here in the USA not so much.

If the Russians fully supported an american civil war it might work becasue russian military tech that was hidden all over the usa would be able to out do any mraps or swat teams and their man portable surface to air is wicked if you dont know its there. if any highway even remotly near an air base with high tech planes going in and out would now be targets and they are on landing approaches and have no idea where any of this tech is.

So yes if an american civil war were supported by another major power it would be possible. When 5 guys in an mrap roll up and get blown away by a russian made missle then the tables are turned. The financing is key as well, on day your out sniping fed agents and swat members and dont have to go to work anymore, that now becomes your full time job which now makes it a nightmare because there is no where to "pick you up".

Getting intellegence to know who is who would be harder, the people fighting the war would have to know who the swat members were who the military members were that were being used against civilians, fed agents, etc.

It would very quickly become asymetric on both sides, you could be eating in mcdonalds with some guy one day and find out he is a swat member the next.

But none of it works without forign military supplies. When an apache enters the scene even once you have to have a way to put that thing in the ground quick or armored vehicals or large concentrations of cops (mini guns, missles, etc).
