I feel very strongly that the speaker of the house has a January 1st surprise for all of us.
I feel she is going to resign her speaker ship, and go into retirement, and will announce that on January 1st 2020.
She accomplished what her party wanted, and now there is nothing more for her.
She was hesitant about impeaching the president at the beginning, and it was only once the socialist wing of the party took hold, she was "persuaded" to go along with their wishes.
I think she was aware that if she didn't, the socialist wing would see her removed form the speaker ship.
She got on board, all the while contemplating retirement after the impeachment vote.
She has been in politics for a long time, and I believe she is aware her usefulness is just about non-existent.
I also think she will not forward the articles to the senate, but will announce her retirement, and leave that to someone else.
Lord knows, she doesn't need the money, and I am sure she has consulted with family regarding retirement.
I believe I am right about this, and we will only have to wait nineteen days to find out if I am right.
Bob.
I disagree, Bob.
Nancy Pelosi isn't done with her work just yet. And her usefulness to her party hasn't ended, either.
If you understand the rules of impeachment, you will understand Pelosi still has some very important things she has to do. If you understand how good her sense of timing is, then you will see how important that work that's still left to her really is.
You're right; Nancy was very hesitant to impeach. She has been around so long she knows a lot more about actions and consequences than her herd of impatient freshman Representatives know.
But once Trump's offenses became incontrovertible, she was forced to act. By him, not her herd. They could have yelled forever, but if the evidence wasn't there clearly, she would have continued to ignore them.
Once she acted, you must understand this; Nancy means to see this thing through before she leaves Congress. She will. She always does. The impeachment proceedings have not ended yet, and it could be some time before they do.
There is a possibility that the Senate trial could come later in 2020 that McConnell or Trump want.
No matter when it comes, Nancy will be around to participate in the final end.
Take that to the bank. Pelosi has had many accomplishments in her long career, but this one is the one she will be most remembered for. She knows that, and she won't leave until it has reached its completion.
Nancy Pelosi plays Trump like a banjo. You just don't like the music. Wishing her gone is like wishing for a pony. She will leave when she is good and ready. I suspect that she intends to wave goodbye to Trump from the Capitol steps.

She is planning on a career as a GILF in the adult movie business, hence all the work she has done on her bust in the past couple of years.
I disagree, Bob.

She knows the senate will never go against Trump, so the impeachment issue is doa, and she knows that.
I believe she will hold off sending it to the senate, and retire from politics at the beginning of the new year.

I did not wish her gone, but merely stated what I believe is going to happen on January 1st of 2020.
She's probably going to die from old age (she's 80) before quitting.
