Nancy Pelosi does not want to be President. She is fully satisfied with her present job, and it is plenty enough for her.
You fail to understand the nature of all the senior Representatives in both parties. They all love the action of the House. None of them want to be President. There are too many constraints in the White House to make that job desirable to any Representative who's spent decades in the House.
Nope. Nancy is more like John Boehner. She always wanted to be the Speaker of the House, and bless her, she got the job. Twice.
Now, after her current job demands are finished, she can retire at last at any time afterward in contentment. Just like Boehner did. That she can retire never means she will retire however. She will leave when she's good and ready, but not until then.
Even if she doesn't want it, there are plenty of people, perhaps millions, who like seeing her that way. That alone is enough of a laurel to keep anyone going.
Someone needs to post a link to Nervous Nancy's press conference today where she was wearing a red dress. I watched a clip on a youtube channel. The woman was SO DRUNK she didn't know what she was saying! Hilarious!

The House is comprised of many factions within each party.
In contrast, the two prior Speakers, Boehner and Ryan resigned because they were unable to bring Republican factions, within their party, together.
I feel very strongly that the speaker of the house has a January 1st surprise for all of us.
I feel she is going to resign her speaker ship, and go into retirement, and will announce that on January 1st 2020.
She accomplished what her party wanted, and now there is nothing more for her.
She was hesitant about impeaching the president at the beginning, and it was only once the socialist wing of the party took hold, she was "persuaded" to go along with their wishes.
I think she was aware that if she didn't, the socialist wing would see her removed form the speaker ship.
She got on board, all the while contemplating retirement after the impeachment vote.
She has been in politics for a long time, and I believe she is aware her usefulness is just about non-existent.
I also think she will not forward the articles to the senate, but will announce her retirement, and leave that to someone else.
