The word homophobic is a buzz word invented to say those who don't like homosexual behavior have something wrong with them.. there is nothing wrong , no phobia.. they just have a moral compass.. Trying to make those who are moral as having a phobia is ridiculous.. what is wrong is having sex wth the same sex. It is unnatural . In the last days, GOOD IS CALLED BAD AND BAD IS CALLED GOOD.
No I don't think that's necessarilly true. While the leadership of the country is very much conservative right now, pushback from society is going in the opposite direction. In some cases, like some crazy SJW stuff it goes too far, but in cases like same sex couples and freedoms and equality for all people, most Americans are on board with that, despite which team they play for. And that's especially true for the younger generations.
I think, perhaps, we're in the Storm before the Calm as far as society goes.....at least that's what I keep telling myself.
I don't know if I'm this optimistic. The Christian Right has never been this angry and this powerful at the same time. Unless something changes, truly dark days are ahead in this country for anyone who doesn't conform strictly to WASP social norms.
